How to change the default Url structure in WordPress?

SEO is one of the hottest topics industry. Making your website SEO friendly is the need of the hour. To begin with, WordPress by default offers various options to choose from in terms of permalink structure. WordPress even allows you to dynamically change the Url structure anytime you need. Steps to change the default Url structure in WordPress?

Step 1: Inside WordPress Dashboard, go to Settings > Permalinks

Step 2: Under “Permalink structure” Select the required format

It is advised to keep the permalink structure to Post Name or set a Custom Structure compared to other available options, since it creates an SEO friendly url rather than having random text and dates in the url which confuses both the users and Search Engines.
